Beyond that, there was no benefit to their waiting for additional stock to be ready and CERTAINLY no benefit to their cellular partners around the world (or the app makers).  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;p&gt;Think of all the additional games Nintendo could have sold if they had more Wii units out there sooner. When I grabbed mine it was the last in stock.
