dmiessler.com | grep understanding: The FBI Can’t Link Bin Laden to 9/11? Why Is This Not News?

  • Martin · 2 years ago
It is not news because US mainstream Media is owned by very rich supporters of the government who do not want the US people to know anything about what is happening politically.
  • ncloud · 2 years ago
You know, on Sept. 11 I spent all day swapping out blank video tapes in my VCR, recording news coverage of the Twin Towers, and what surprised me most was how *quickly* blame was pinned on Bin Laden. It seemed that, not moments after the second tower was hit, the talking heads everywhere were claiming that we knew for *certain* that Bin Laden was behind the attacks. I'm not one to subscribe to conspiracy theories, but I am, to this day, unsettled by that.
  • HystErica · 2 years ago
There's plenty of "hard evidence" about 9/11, but none of it involves Bin Laden...
  • Keith · 2 years ago
It may just be a conspiracy again - but once again, who knows.
  • chanesaw · 2 years ago
This administration apparently has a policy againt giving out any data which would support its wild-eyed claims. If you question the official line, you are branded a traitor, a cut-and-run coward, or an idiot. Next question please.

"Dylan Avery, Korey Rowe, and Jason Bermas bring you the most powerful 9/11 Documentary yet. Updated!!!!"

This is the movie that is supposed to start being showed in theaters, but the other week, one of its
    producers, Kerry Rowe, was arrested.

http://www.roguegovernment.com/news.php?id=3202 - there is an article talking about the arrest.

    http://www.jonesreport.com/articles/250707_rowe... - that's about his release.

"Rowe extends his thanks to the 9/11 truth community and all others involved in making phone calls, writing stories and otherwise pressuring his release from military custody after he was hauled in on accusations of desertion. Rowe is an Army veteran who served in combat tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq."

This is only 1 of many unanswered questions regarding 9/11. The more you look into it, the murkier it becomes. Conspiracy theories range from "the government instigated the attack upon themselves", to "the government knew what was going to happen and let it happen". If you believe that the government knew nothing about it at all, then they were totally incompetent at reacting to a terrorist attack: how was the pentagon hit so long after the towers? Why did bush carry on reading to school kids after being informed?

    Read on PNAC http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_Ne...
look at the people involved, and what they proposed in 2000

    More questions: http://www.911truth.org/article.php?story=20041...

The events of 9/11 (whoever instigated them) allowed the government to instigate a preplanned invasion of iraq, not to mention gaining control of afghanistan and the ability to build an oil transportation pipe after talks with the taliban broke down

You have got to be kidding me, you are making a "story" out of an old wanted poster, yes it has not changed in all this time and is till the same. Please if you are hunting for a story try digging for some news and not an out dated poster to FORCE a story from. The Original story is dumb and even dumber to make a story of that story... thanks for wasting my time.

  • Oliver · 2 years ago
@ Chris - So what does constitute good news? Something you like the sound of? An 'old' wanted poster? How about the live page on the FBI site?
    http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/terrorists/terbinlade...
"Usama Bin Laden is wanted in connection with the August 7, 1998, bombings of the United States Embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya. These attacks killed over 200 people. In addition, Bin Laden is a suspect in other terrorist attacks throughout the world."

Huh, funny that... No mention of 9/11 at all!

I would have thought they'd have updated it by now if it were him huh...

Because feelings are the best things we have, right? Feelings got Lenin in power. Feelings declared Octavius emperor. Feelings got Hitler appointed (Godwin me, I dare you!).

Feelings are responsible for the worst atrocities mankind has ever committed. Why should we make the mistake of hunting down a diseased Arab when we have perfectly healthy World Controllers in our own front yards? They're capable of much more damage than a bearded lunatic.
  • Richard Tallent · 2 years ago
The FBI is a domestic law enforcement organization. They don't have jurisdiction outside our borders, and all indications are that OBL is in Pakistan, not inside the US. And, frankly, even if they did have jurisdiction and a reason to be looking for him, why waste the space on the Most Wanted page? *Everyone* knows that he looks like and his crimes, and the Most Wanted page is a method to bring people's attention to the *not*-so-infamous criminals that the FBI would be most interested in capturing.
  • Doubtful Dumbass · 2 years ago
Doubtful are you a fucking moron? How can you say anything like that with George Bush as the current president? Jesus Christ Bill Clinton was way better than this idiot.

Will someone PLEASE suck Bush's dick so we can impeach him...
  • Mr. Hancock · 2 years ago
Nice piece. I've said for a long time that there was no connection between 9/11 and Bin Laden. If the US Government had anything real, it would have been plastered across every newspaper and TV screen in the United States. But, it seems they never had anything that might stand up in, say, a war crimes court...

And to "James the knowth", you should go read the FBI most-wanted-terrorists list. Osama is on there, but only for attacks outside the United States. He is NOT wanted in connection with 9/11.

...durrr...perhaps because he didn't do it....?

HOW ABOUT THE UNITED STATES GOV TALKING TO BIN LADIN RIGHT AFTER 9/11 IN A PAKISTANIE HOSPITAL THEN LETTING HIM GO!!!
  • Shandooga · 2 years ago
There's no "hard evidence" to link to Bin Laden because he had nothing to do with it. All the evidence, hard or circumstantial, ultimately links to George Herbert Walker Bush. As long as he owns the country, no one in a position to will do anything about it. Now that people are finding out, they're going to have to do something spectacular to get the terror story moving again. Say good bye to New York.

The average American citizen doesn't realize that America as a nation state needs to maintain certain conditions that maintain its super power status in the world - energy, weapons, and economics (petrodollar monopoly) - which is needed to sustain the world's highest standard of living, is easier spun by the government into an "US vs Them", chasing down terrorists with no questions asked. George W. Bush is as much a puppet president as much as Bin Laden is a phantom menace for a shadow government that controls democracy with absolute power.

Where the government failed is not that they lied, but they got caught; and with the relatively new era of the Internet, people have the power to talk about it without being filtered by the bought out media. (what comes in the future is bombardment of garbage media and propaganda AI bots).

"However, as the events of September 11 demonstrated with horrible clarity, the United States also confronts serious challenges from international terrorists. The transnational Al-Qaeda terrorist network headed by Usama Bin Laden has clearly emerged as the most urgent threat to U.S. interests. The evidence linking Al-Qaeda and Bin Laden to the attacks of September 11 is clear and irrefutable."
  • brad tittle · 2 years ago
Keep in mind that Al Capone was jailed for Tax Evasion. Was there a conspiracy on the FBI's part? They knew that he did more than evade taxes, but they couldn't pin anything on him. The evidence that Osama was connected is there, but it isn't evidence that could get him convicted.

There is no conspiracy here. Mostly there are a bunch of whining idiots trying to find a way to blame their government for anything. It is too bad that many people here will embrace some conspiracy instead of recognizing the exigencies of war. Sure the War on Terror is silly, but they had to do something. We will never truly win this war because there will forever be people like those commenting here that never come to undestand that some people don't like us. They don't like because we are free to be idiots. They don't like us because we are free to make really bad mistakes.

Not least of those mistakes is our belief that "they" will recognize that "freedom" is better than Tyranny.

"They don't like us" because we take their resources and we give them a bankrupt fiat currency to pay them for their miraculous liquid energy you can just pump out of the ground. But that's not why we're in Iraq... we're there chasing terrorists, since by obvious logic, Bin Laden is a terrorist, Saddam is in Iraq, and Saddam is a terrorist, therefore, all terrorists are in Iraq, DUH!?
  • Slick Shoes McGee · 2 years ago
I am pretty certain we can still blame Bin Laden, whether or not there's "hard proof." If somebody else did it, they would have spoken up by now. You don't commit such an act without a long, preachy speech to follow it up. If the government was behind it, the FBI wouldn't be giving us this insight.
  • Sasha Leiter · 2 years ago
I wouldn't be surprised that we have no hard evidence. It's not like he left fingerprints or anything on the WTC site. There's tons of hard evidence that the hijackers pulled off 9/11. And there's hard evidence linking those hijackers to Al-Qaeda. There's also hard evidence linking Al-Qaeda, to Bin Laden.

That's the connection. You people are completely misinterpreting this. The fact of the matter is Osama Bin Laden did not pull off 9/11. He simply leads the group that did. And has confessed to it.
  • CDH · 2 years ago
the tape doesn't count because Bin Laden never officially took credit for 9/11 - which is rare because every other terrorist attack he was responsible for, he took credit for immediately afterwards.

the tapes in question are just him expressing his approval for the actions taken in 9/11, not claiming responsibility.
  • Marko Kettunen · 2 years ago
Well, all of you Republican liars can go and suck my dick. Everyone living outside of your silly darn country knows that it's just George W. Come here then and I will kick your sorry asses. You want to have all the resources and take down every little piece of shit that disagrees with your old and mighty emporium? Ha, how about just a reality check from time to time. Half of the world hates you, dumfucks. No reason, we just do. Or.. It might have something to do with your policies, like ignoring the UN and just starting your own wars. Who the fuck gives a shit about the rest of the world, when you have George and his mighty powers?! Come on, blow the whole fucking world up, you still got the nukes so come on... I dare you, you fucking monkeys.
  • SurferGurl · 2 years ago
    To brad tittle:

They never did pin anything of import on Al Capone, now did they? They couldn't because he was smarter than the cops.

But that's neither here nor there.

You say the war on terror is silly. No sir, it's not silly at all. Its cost, so far, is past $500 billion (http://www.csmonitor.com/2006/1121/p01s03-usmi.... -- sorry, it's an old link -- I'm not really in the mood to do more fishing for you) and 3,679 American lives (http://www.icasualties.org/oif/BY_DOD.aspx) so far. I'm not laughing. And if you're laughing then your as heartless and cruel as Bush and Cheney.

People speaking their minds about their opposition to how America's reaction to what happened on Sept. 11, 2001, can't lose a war, you idiot, and to attack those of us exercising our FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS marks you as a terrorist.

Here's an idea on how to try and clear up the issue on why the FBI did not include 9/11 on Osama's Wanted Poster: Call the FBI and ask why.

Any questions or comments you have on the matter would be best referred to them as they and only they can answer from a position of authority on this matter. Nearly anyone else's answer to the question would come off as speculative.

Wait a second, something doesn't mesh here. In 2001, the US Government claimed Bin Laden was behind the attacks. The FBI poured more resources into the 9/11 investigation than anything prior. The UK came to the same conclusion.
Bin Laden himself admitted to his involvement in 04. Later that year Bin Laden says he trained the hijackers. They even have video of Bin Laden with some of the hijackers prior to the attacks.
So why would Tomb say there's no hard evidence? I mean we invaded Afghanistan looking for Bin Laden (among other things).
OH I see. This is all circumstantial evidence.
  • Chris · 2 years ago
People use your brain this is just a dumb ass story, basing all your facts from an HTML page. Dont be simple minded, if you can read you can think and now think about what you just read. Does the theorist use good and solid logic? Does the writer provide you with hard facts? Because to me this is the dumbest theory yet. Dont you think if the FBI or the government was trying to cover this up that they would removed the details about the boomings in Africa and just have something like "Wanted for terrorist attacks around the world."

Thank for yourself, dont follow the guy with the biggest bullhorn.

Oh to answer your question about why this is not on the news, because it is a stupid theory. It is not even worth being called circumstantial evidence it is more like circumvented evidence.
  • Jason Powell · 2 years ago
If there were a conspiracy here, the wanted poster would say "for 9/11," whether they had hard evidence or not.
  • J · 2 years ago
I just wrote this to the author:

    Hi,

I just read your Bin Laden to 9/11 link article. An admission of guilt is NOT hard evidence, especially when it comes to these kinds of terrorist activities. If you look back you'll see that almost every time there is an attack several groups step forward to claim responsibility. Heck, you want to have some fun you can Google "several groups claimed responsibility" (put it in quotes) and see what you get.

You can also look directly at our domestic judicial system. There have been criminals in the past that have admitted guilt to a crime but because they could not link any bit of evidence to them they couldn't be prosecuted. Generally a problem occurs when the person admitting guilt can't get the story right, but we don't have Bin Laden in custody to see if he knows the fine details that only the attacker would know.

So why are we going after him at all then? Because he is a prime suspect or as the police might put it, a "person of interest." If your wife shows up dead and you skip state, you're not guilty of a crime, they may not have any evidence at all, but they'll certainly chase you down. That's really about where we're at in the whole thing, although it has certainly lost almost all steam in the last few years.

As for the media being just a bobbling head with a pre-recorded voice, we're on the same page there. That's kind of a multifaceted problem. Firstly, shocking stories create the most income for them. We all know this. However, with it being so easy to blame the government if something comes out wrong, financially there's all the incentive to just say it and none to question it. Plus it costs money to question what is being fed. Why bite the hand that feeds you? Of course we can also bring up the clear political bias of many media outlets but that's a few paragraphs on it's own. I'm sure you're already very well versed on those issues.

Anyway, I hope that really sums it up. Maybe you can 'call off the dogs' because I really don't see it as something that deserves outrage. If you want some good reading I might suggest how Bin Laden considered Saddam an "infidel" and that he was not in-fact harboring him. That being the case, why are we in Iraq at all?

    Hope it helps.

  • James · 2 years ago
Someone confessed to the crime of killing Jon Benet Ramsey and it turned out NOT to be him.

Aren't the Bush family and the Bin Laden families buddies? Wasn't the Bin Laden family allowed to leave hurriedly after 9-11 from the U.S.? Weren't all of the 9-11 terrorists Saudis? Isn't the same Bush family helping Verichip plan to electronically tag every person? http://www.cnn.com/2007/TECH/science/08/01/chip...

Think big picture, dudes. Perhaps 9-11 was designed to start something far more insidious than war with Iraq. Why is it that no one hears about the rest of Iraq except Baghdad?
  • Sasha Leiter · 2 years ago
"WOW… ok.. simple test here… go to the FBI’s most wanted list… and walah! our dear Mr Bin is definitely on that list… BUT…. look at what he is wanted for… any mention of 9/11 or planes or buildings? didn’t think so…. come now people lets all grow up…." Considering the FBI is a government controlled group who would have had to take part in the conspiracy and cover-up, don't you think that they wouldn't be the ones to subtly expose the thing? This isn't complicated. He LEADS the group that did it. When people talk about how catching Bin Laden won't make a difference, it's because he doesn't control everything in the organization and directly help everyone pull off every attack. He does however lead the group that launched the attack. That's why he's wanted. You're just thinking about this in a really biased manner, because you're specifically looking for proof that 9/11 wasn't caused by him. When you look at this from any sort of reasoned perspective, it's blatantly obvious what this actually means.

"LOL, you guys crack me up. Watch Loose Change, or shut up. We need a Big Banner to hang over Ground Zero that says, “JET FUEL CAN’T MELT STEEL. PERIOD.” It’s F**king Science you monkey tards. If someone wants to go ahead and show me one circumstance where they can heat burning jet fuel to a temperature that would weaken steel, please be my guest, until then, shut up." As anyone with any knowledge of engineering or science in general will be able to tell you, you don't need steel to be liquid for it to lose it's strength. The planes burned at a temperature hot enough to weaken the steel. Weak steel can't support the top of a skyscraper like normal steel can. You should try reading/watching the many, MANY videos that completely debunk loose change step by step that are made by people who know what they're talking about.

Fuck, 9/11 was pulled off by pissed off people from the middle east. Why is that so hard for some people to comprehend? Do you not get that they hate us? Or do you just think they lack the competence to pull it off? The Bush Administration did lie to us, as part of a conspiracy. That was the invasion of Iraq, not 9/11. Stop wasting your time on 9/11 and focus on Iraq.

Why is that so hard for some people to comprehend? Do you not get that they hate us?
It's called Bush Derangement Syndrome. Anything bad that has happened in the last 75 has to be blamed on Bush. Does everyone believe that Saddam Hussein was no threat to us? Go check out documents released by the government and translated by -- not the New York Times or the Washington Post -- but by bloggers. Does everyone believe that Bush made up the evidence needed to go to war with Iraq? Read what the Democrats were saying the 1990s. Do the Bush Haters know that Clinton signed into law in 1998 a bill to overthrow Saddam? Do you think that the media is lying to you? Well, you're right, but not in the way you think they are. Check out AP's use of a photographer with strong terrorist ties. AP has also used people with terrorist ties to do their reporting for them. One of AP's reporters operates an anti-Israel blog. The BBC fired an editor for using fake photos from Iraq. And how can we forget the fake photos used by Reuters. How many of you Bush-haters know about the recent phony story in the liberal magazine The National Review? I'll bet that most of you believe the myth that the rich pay less taxes due to Bush's tax cut. I'll also bet that most of you aren't smart enough to figure out this IRS chart showing that the wealthiest 1% of Americans paid 29.01% of the country's income taxes in 1994 but paid 36.89% of the income taxes in 2004. That's right, the rich pay MORE in taxes now than they did under Clinton.
Bush hasn't done everything right. But he does not deserve the scorn concocted by the Democrats and the mainsream. It's obvious from reading some of the comments here that many of you have no concept of history, cannot remember anything that happened before yesterday, and believe anything that nutjobs (like the 9/11 Truthers) say about Bush. We have soldiers fighting in the Middle East for your right to be stupid.

USAMA BIN LADEN: In the name of Allah (God), the most beneficent, the most merciful. Praise be to Allah, Who is the creator of the whole universe and Who made the Earth as an abode for peace, for the whole humankind. Allah is the Sustainer, who sent Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for our guidance. I am thankful to the Ummat Group of Publications, which gave me the opportunity to convey my viewpoint to the people, particularly the valiant and momin (true Muslim) people of Pakistan who refused to believe the lies of the demon (Pakistani military dictator General Pervez Musharraf).

I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle. It is the United States, which is perpetrating every maltreatment on women, children and common people of other faiths, particularly the followers of Islam. All that is going on in Palestine for the last 11 months is sufficient to call the wrath of God upon the United States and Israel. There is also a warning for those Muslim countries, which witnessed all these as a silent spectator. What had earlier been done to the innocent people of Iraq, Chechnya and Bosnia? Only one conclusion could be derived from the indifference of the United States and the West to these acts of terror and the patronage of the tyrants by these powers that America is an anti-Islamic power and it is patronizing the anti-Islamic forces. Its friendship with the Muslim countries is just a show, rather deceit. By enticing or intimidating these countries, the United States is forcing them to play a role of its choice. Put a glance all around and you will see that the slaves of the United States are either rulers or enemies of Muslims.

Bin Laden is not known to have any connection with 9/11. The videos where he allegedly confessed were proven by German to have been falsely translated by US "intelligence". I LOVE the story about the passport that flew out of the plane and landed on the street in New York, and the one about the alleged suicide bomber that started a letter, "In the Name of God, my family, and myself" was clearly a method to sort the retards from the normal people.

The mainstream media has been told not by the FBI not to discuss the fact that Bin Ladin is nothing but a "Lee Harvey Oswald" type of patsy.

Rather than spending too much time in documenting the facts, Webster Tarpley has an excellent Ebook on the attacks on 9-11 and what he believes are the reasons behind them. Including a rogue element within the U.S. Military Intelligence complex who actually overthrew the U.S. Federal Government on 9-11, while attempting to assasinate George W. Bush in the early morning hours while he was staying at the Colony Beach and Tennis Club in Florida, having breakfast with his brother Jeb - the Governor of Florida.

After the attacks on 9-11, Bush spent the rest of the day on Air Force 1 attempting to flee for his life, only to eventually show up at the White House in the evening hours.
