    Does the net need Yet Another Forum? :)

    I'd imagine most of your blog readers and commenters are here to read your blog posts; if they want to participate in a discussion, it's likely to be discussing the content of one of your posts, which is what the post comments are for.

    I am in favour of establishing a forum.

    The categories that interest me are as follows:

    (1) IT security - particularly on topics like hacking and cyberwarfare between the US, China, France and the UK

    (2) Atheism

    (3) Critical Thinking Skills - Catagories on how to develop thinking skills would really interest me!

    (4) Philosopy

    (5) Strategy/warfare principles

    For a number of topics, there are already established forums or the like. Progressive Democratic discussion has DailyKos and MyDD. My campaign is paying for creating a libertarian counterpart of Daily Kos, namely http://TheDailyLiberty.com . Larger fora tend to be more effective.

    But what would your categories be?
