Not sure if this is widely known or not (I don’t see the feature noted on the Google site anywhere), but if you put “time $somecity” into Google you’ll get back the current local time for that city — including international ones.

I tried a few cities and found this feature not applicable for quite a few double worded city names. If you try google "time los angeles", "time new york", and so on - it gives the phonebook lookup result.
